Jim Rice: Choking Up Is One Strategy Against Knuckleballers (Video)

The Boston Red Sox match up against famed knuckleballer R.A. Dickey on Sunday night when they take on the Toronto Blue Jays, and Hall of Famer Jim Rice gave some insight on hitting a knuckleballer on “Red Sox First Pitch.”

Rice suggested that players choke up on the bat or change their position in the batter’s box. Hear everything Rice had to say in the video above.

Aetna Strikeouts for A Cause

For every strikeout by a Red Sox pitcher at Fenway Park in June, Aetna will donate $250 to Boston Health Care for the Homeless Program. Through June 25, the donation mark stands at $30,000.

Through their continued efforts in the local community, Aetna is helping to build a healthier world -- one city and one strikeout at a time.
