After the Boston Marathon bombing one year ago, the city of Boston came together and healed as a community. The Red Sox and their eventual World Series title became a part of that process.
Red Sox first baseman Mike Napoli and manager John Farrell reflected on the one-year anniversary of the tragedy Tuesday. Napoli said what he witnessed from Boston after the marathon was “amazing,” and Farrell believed the city “became even stronger” in the aftermath.
