The one-year anniversary of the Boston Marathon bombing brings back a lot of memories for everyone, but especially for the first responders.
Detective Michael Lawn and Captain Ray Dupuis of the Watertown Police Department joined NESN’s Tom Caron in the studio Tuesday to discuss the events of the post-marathon manhunt and how the Red Sox had a part in helping them heal.
“They say sports do so much to help in these situations, and we saw that firsthand,” Lawn said. “The Red Sox were tremendous to our officers throughout this whole ordeal.”
