The young Boston star wanted to wear it in honor of a player he idolized growing up — Derek Jeter. Before Friday night’s game against the Bronx Bombers, Bogaerts took some time to talk with NESN’s Adam Pellerin about why it’s such an honor to wear No. 2 and what Jeter has meant to the game of baseball.
