Discipline was a popular storyline before the Boston Bruins and Montreal Canadiens met in the second round of the 2014 Stanley Cup playoffs, and it’s still a key element after the first two games.
Boston lost its composure too often in the two games played at TD Garden, which resulted in Montreal earning a 9-5 advantage in power-play opportunities. The Bruins must do a better job of not getting involved in after-the-whistle shenanigans in order to play 5-on-5 as much as possible in Game 3.
