The Boston Bruins were handed a loss on home ice by the Montreal Canadiens to start their Eastern Conference semifinal series, but the team has been there before. Last series, the Bruins came back from a Game 1 loss to beat the Detroit Red Wings in four straight games, so the B’s are confident they can do it again.
The Bruins fell behind against the Canadiens 2-0 after the first two periods on Thursday night, but were able to rally with a couple of quick goals to start the third period. That resilience is exactly what the B’s have working for them moving forward in the series.
