Boston Bruins captain Cam Neely had a career night on May 3, 1991, when he set the team record for most goals in a playoff season with 15. But Vladimir Ruzicka’s efforts in overtime powered the B’s past the Pittsburgh Penguins in Game 2 of the Wales Conference Finals.
The Bruins couldn’t hold on that series, though, as the Pens won the remaining four games and went on to win the Stanley Cup championship.
