Goal deficits don’t scare the Boston Bruins.
Finding themselves down 3-1 to the Montreal Canadiens midway through the third period, the Bruins bench was brimming with confidence that they could rally. Torey Krug credited this mindset to the leadership on the bench, as he told NESN’s Jack Edwards there wasn’t one player who was hanging their head.
Their faith in themselves translated on the ice, too, with the B’s scoring four third-period goals en route to a 5-3 victory over Montreal in Game 2.
