Boston Red Sox History: Jake Jones Turns Tables On White Sox (Video)

James Murrell “Jake” Jones changed the color of his “Sox” from white to red in 1947, and he hit it big in his first few appearances with his new team.

Jones was dealt to the Boston Red Sox from the Chicago White Sox in exchange for Rudy York, and made his old team regret the choice almost immediately. NESN Nation’s Alison Smith has the scoop in the video above.
