Concussions are a serious issue in hockey, and the NHL is doing all it can to support the cause.
Dr. Rebekah Mannix of Boston Children’s Hospital joined NESN’s Dale Arnold during Thursday’s Boston Bruins game at TD Garden to discuss the latest advancements in concussion research.
Mannix and her team can’t do it alone, though, so the NHL is helping fund the efforts with the NHL Pro Am hockey tournament, scheduled for April 24-26 in Marlborough, Mass., to benefit Children’s Hospital.
Bruins Foundation executive director Bob Sweeney also was on hand to talk about the exciting event. Check out more details in the video above.
