There might not be a better way to celebrate dad than by taking him to a baseball game, but Red Sox fans in Boston weren’t able to do that this year. So the club gave fans the next best thing.
The Red Sox observed Father’s Day on Sunday morning with a “Walk in the Park” at Fenway, where fathers and their families could walk the warning track, sit in the home and visitors’ dugouts, pose with Boston’s World Series trophies and plenty of other activities. Best of all, the event was free, so anyone could attend.
NESN’s Nikki Reyes was at Fenway Park for all the family fun and talked to some Red Sox fan fathers. Check it out in the video above.
