The Pittsburgh Steelers really felt the absence of one of their key starters Thursday night.
We’re talking, of course, about kicker Shaun Suisham, who suffered a season-ending knee injury in the preseason and paved the way for Josh Scobee to take over. Scobee hasn’t fared too well this season, especially Thursday night, where he missed two key field goals — including a 41-yarder late in the fourth quarter — in the Steelers’ 23-20 loss to the Baltimore Ravens at Heinz Field.
It appears Pittsburgh fans are just about fed up with Scobee, and they let him know. First up was rapper and die-hard Steelers supporter Snoop Dogg, who launched into an extremely NSFW tirade on Instagram. Here’s a small sample:
“Get the (expletive) out of here Josh Scobee. We need to get rid of that (expletive). He was (expletive) sorry in Jacksonville; he’s sorry with us.”
Unfortunately for Mr. Scobee, the hate didn’t stop there.
Hah. Look at the Josh Scobee Wikipedia page: "most likely to be cut after 10/1/15 game." #Steelers pic.twitter.com/HwOGdoybNU

Every time a Josh Scobee field goal attempt is in the air, I think about his future in drywall repair.

Josh Scobee is kicking himself right now.
Just kidding, he missed— Purple Monkey Dishwasher (@HayekandHockey) October 2, 2015
As of Friday morning, Scobee still is a member of the Steelers. But it looks like that could change very soon.
