Danny Amendola, Dezman Moses Fined For Penalties In Patriots-Chiefs Game

Danny Amendola’s brutal block on Jamell Fleming in the New England Patriots’ divisional-round win over the Kansas City Chiefs resulted in a $23,152 fine, a league spokesperson told NESN.com.

Amendola plans to appeal the fine, ESPN’s Mike Reiss reported Friday morning. Amendola’s hit came on a Chiefs punt, when he shoulder checked Fleming high while the Chiefs defensive back was trying to down the kick.

Chiefs linebacker Dezman Moses was fined $17,363 for a roughing the passer penalty, a league spokesperson told NESN.com. Moses hit Patriots quarterback Tom Brady late on a pass with 5:22 remaining in the second quarter.
