The Internet went wild Friday night after No. 14 seed Steven F. Austin knocked off the No. 3 West Virginia Mountaineers in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.
In the excitement, everyone seemed to compare the Lumberjacks, who delivered the stunning knockout, to WWE legend “Stone Cold” Steve Austin for obvious reasons.
It was glorious.

The Lumberjacks took it a step further by extending an invitation to their second-round game in Brooklyn, N.Y., to Austin himself.
Hey @steveaustinBSR – if you're in Brooklyn on Sunday, we'll save a seat for you. #AxeEm #MarchMadness

Unfortunately, he won’t be able to make it.
@SFA_MBB I'm busy fighting crime on the mean streets of LA right now. Congrats on a helluva win and best of luck!! #HELLYEAH!

Either way, this deservedly might go down as our favorite memory of this 2016 NCAA Tournament.
And that’s the bottom line.
