A scary situation unfolded Sunday night at WWE’s “Payback” pay-per-view event.
WWE superstar Enzo Amore, whose real name is Eric Arndt, suffered a concussion in a violent collision with the ring ropes during a tag team match against The Vaudevillains.
Amore, who teamed up with Colin Cassady (aka Big Cass), was knocked out cold and left Allstate Arena on a stretcher in an ambulance after the officials stopped the match because of his injury.

WWE tweeted a little while later that Amore had been released from the hospital, and photographic evidence suggests the 29-year-old was in good spirits.

Amore and Big Cass have been a huge hit with fans since debuting in WWE in early April. Fortunately, Amore’s injury wasn’t worse, as it certainly didn’t look good.
