BOSTON — Mookie Betts hasn’t been wasting any time getting the Red Sox on the board.
The right fielder hit his second leadoff home run in as many days Friday against the Minnesota Twins, sending an 0-1 fastball from Kyle Gibson to the top of the Green Monster to give the Red Sox an early lead. Betts was slacking a bit from Thursday, as he hit that solo shot on the first pitch of the game.

The home run was Bett’s 20th of the season and the seventh leadoff shot of his career, five of which have come in 2016.
