Dave Dombrowski: Everything’s Going Along Well Together For Red Sox Right Now

The Boston Red Sox are playing some of their best baseball of the season, and it couldn’t be happening at a better time.

The Red Sox have gone 7-3 in their last 10 games entering Tuesday’s crucial American League East battle with the Baltimore Orioles, and they now hold a two-game lead over the Toronto Blue Jays for first place in the division.

“The club’s playing well right now,” president of baseball operations Dave Dombrowski told NESN’s Tom Caron on “Red Sox First Pitch.” “And that’s what you keep waiting for all year long and hopefully you do it at the opportune time where you can play well for an extended period. We always felt the pieces were there, the guys were there, yet there was usually one part of the club that would stumble when somebody else was doing well. Right now everything’s going along pretty good together.”
