Before the Boston Celtics begin their much-anticipated 2016-17 season Wednesday against the Brooklyn Nets, they still have to make one final roster decision.
The Celtics need to cut one more player after waiving Ben Bentil on Friday, and that person likely will be either R.J. Hunter or James Young.
“Sometimes the decision is made for me — it’s really easy,” Celtics president of basketball operations Danny Ainge said Friday, as aired on “NESN Live,” presented by Cross Insurance. “And this one this year hasn’t been that way. It’s been very challenging. Like I’ve said, both those guys have had some outstanding moments in practice, in training camp and in games. So it’s been challenging.”
