“King James” will be taking his talents to the big screen.

It was announced in a press release Monday that the Cleveland Cavaliers star has signed on to be an executive producer for a new documentary series on the life of legendary boxer and activist, Muhammad Ali.

As part of the press release, James expressed how much this project meant to him.

“It’s tough to put into words how much it means to me to be a part of this project honoring the legacy and telling the extremely important story of the great Muhammad Ali,” James said. “He transcended sports and used his platform to empower people, which paved the way for all athletes and people of every race and gender that came after him, myself included.”

The series will reportedly center around the victories and hardships throughout Ali’s life, both in and out of the ring, and will include never before seen footage and photos.
