Bill Belichick recently called Tom Brady the greatest quarterback of all time, but he doesn’t have as much faith in his QB’s potential lacrosse skills.

Belichick, in an episode of Lacrosse Magazine’s “Overtime with Paul Carcaterra,” envisioned three Patriots as lacrosse players.

On Brady: “Put him in the goal. He can’t run. I mean, he can’t run, he can’t dodge. He can’t run.”

On tight end Rob Gronkowski: “If I could teach him any stick work, I’d put him at crease attack. Let him go out and then clear out and let him go to the goal.”

On wide receiver Julian Edelman: “He’d be a good midfielder.”

Belichick hesitantly said no when asked if he could coach lacrosse when he’s done with football.

“Yeah, it would be tough. I don’t know if I know enough about it really,” Belichick said. “I think the game’s kind of passed me up a little bit. I wouldn’t be naive enough to think I could keep up with all that.”
