UFC 198 Live: Stipe Miocic Knocks Fabricio Werdum Out To Win Heavyweight Title

UFC fans are in for a treat Saturday night.

Heavyweight champion Fabricio Werdum will defend his title against Stipe Miocic in the UFC 198 main event in front of what is sure to be a raucous hometown crowd for Werdum at Arena da Baixada in Curitiba, Brazil. Also featured on the main card is Brazilian Cris “Cyborg” Justino, who will make her much-anticipated UFC debut against Leslie Smith. The other big fight of the night will feature Ronaldo Souza and Vitor Belfort in a middleweight bout.

The main event will kick off at 10 p.m. ET on pay-per-view, but fight fans will have plenty of preliminary bouts to hold them over until then.

Miocic stunned Werdum with a KO victory at the 2:47 mark of the first round to win the UFC heavyweight championship.

Pre-Fight: It’s time for the co-main event, as Souza and Belfort battle go face-to-face in a middleweight bout.

Round 1: Souza dominated the co-main event against Belfort from start to finish, and he earned a TKO victory at the 4:38 mark.
