Bruins Recall Adam McQuaid From Providence

Two days after being sent down to Providence, Adam McQuaid is back on the road, heading to Boston.

The defenseman has been recalled from Providence and will be traveling with the Bruins to Carolina Saturday night for their Sunday tilt with the Hurricanes.

The 23-year-old made his NHL debut with the B's on Dec. 19 in Toronto and has skated in eight games this year for Boston.  In 30 games with Providence he has registered three goals and seven assists for 10 points to go with 66 penalty minutes.
