Boston Bruins Players Give Their Predictions for U.S.-Canada Gold-Medal Game Boston Bruins players are anxious to watch Sunday’s gold-medal game between the United States and Canada in Vancouver. Some are even giving their predictions for the contest.

Marc Stuart likes the Americans, but fails to give a definitive prediction.

“I’ll be rooting on the Americans,” Stuart said. “I predict a close game. That’s all I’ll say.”

For someone who doesn’t watch televised hockey all that much, Shawn Thornton is anxious to see Sunday’s game.

“I don’t watch too much hockey, but I’m excited to watch it,” Thornton said.

Blake Wheeler predicts a “interesting” gold-medal game.

“The longer the score stays close or in the Americans’ favor, the better for them,” Wheeler said. “It’s gonna be very interesting to watch.”

Check out what else Stuart, Thornton and Wheeler had to say about Sunday’s Olympic hockey matchup.
