Tim Thomas’ Olympic Goalie Mask Unveiled

Tim Thomas got creative with his goalie mask for the Winter Classic, and he’s living up to expectations for next week’s Olympics.

The company that airbrushes the masks, EYECANDYAIR, unveiled the masks of both Thomas and his Olympic teammate Jonathan Quick.

Thomas’ features the USA Hockey logo on top and a bald eagle on the side of the red, white and blue mask. The back pays tribute to the troops, with a soldier saluting the American flag. There is also a bear on the side. It’s the same Mage helmet that Thomas wears on the ice for the Bruins. It was painted and photographed by Steve Nash of EYECANDYAIR.

Quick’s also features a bald eagle, though his is wearing dog tags.
