Baseball has experienced a renaissance of stadiums in the last decade, and Minnesota is the latest to join the litany of teams with new homes. Target Field was inaugurated on April 14 with the opponents being the Red Sox.
Both New York teams also have new stadiums, as 2009 was the opening season for both. The Yankees celebrated the new Yankee Stadium with a World Series win, while Mets fans rejoiced in the move from Shea Stadium to Citi Field.
NESN.com's Question of the Day on Tuesday asked fans which stadium they are most eager to visit. Fans were most eager to check out the belly of the beast, Yankee Stadium, which garnered 53 percent of the vote.
Target Field was second at 29 percent, while no one cares to check out the home of the Mets, which got just 18 percent of the vote.
