Dustin Pedroia’s Injury Affects Red Sox More Than Any Other Injuries

Dustin Pedroia's Injury Affects Red Sox More Than Any Other Injuries Every team suffers injuries, but not every team suffers injuries like the Red Sox have.

Some of the Red Sox’ biggest talents have missed a sustained amount of time due to injury and after fracturing his foot Friday night, Dustin Pedroia is now part of the list.

And according to Red Sox fans, it could be the injury to the 2008 AL MVP that hurts the team the most.

Sunday’s kgb Poll Question of the Day asked fans which player’s loss to injury — Josh Beckett, Jacoby Ellsbury or Pedroia — would affect the team the most.

Pedroia ran away with it, getting an astounding 97 percent of the vote. While the Red Sox have proven they can weather the storm of injuries they’ve had to go through, it just may be the injury to Pedroia that challenges them the most.

NESN’s Tom Caron revealed the results Sunday on Red Sox Final.
