Rajon Rondo 'Ready to Go,' Knows Celtics Need Better Team Effort in Game 7
Rajon Rondo knows he needs to be better in Game 7. But he also knows the Celtics, as a team, need to be a lot better.

“I missed a lot of shots I usually make,” the point guard said of his 5-of-15 shooting performance in Game 6 of the NBA Finals. “But, if I made those shots, we’re still down maybe 12 or 14 points.”

If the Celtics are going to bounce back and beat the Lakers to win their 18th NBA title, Rondo says it’s going to take an all-around team improvement.

When talking about other players needing to step up, Rondo said: “That’s been our motto all year, we’ve always had different guys step up at different times.”
