Rangers' Rotation Solidified for Stretch Run With Addition of Cliff Lee Red Sox fans got an up-close view of Cliff Lee on Saturday night, and it looks like they think Lee is going to be able to put the Rangers rotation over the top.

Saturday’s kgb Poll Question of the Day asked fans whether they thought the Rangers had enough pitching to win the AL West. The fans are sold on the Rangers’ pitching, with 68 percent of those voting saying that the Rangers do have enough pitching to win the West.

Saturday’s loss dropped Texas to 52-39, but they still lead the AL West by four games over the Angels. The addition of Lee — one of the game’s elite pitching talents — should only help.

NESN’s Tom Caron revealed the results on W.B. Mason’s Red Sox Extra Innings but also pointed out that Lee has gone nine innings in both of his Ranger starts, and both ended up in losses.
