Terry Francona On Frustrating Day for Him, Red Sox: ‘It Happens’

Terry Francona On Frustrating Day for Him, Red Sox: 'It Happens' It’s been a very frustrating week for the Red Sox and that may have started to boil over on Saturday afternoon in Toronto.

Their loss Saturday to the Blue Jays made the Sox losers of five of six games as they limp to what will be a much-needed All-Star break after Sunday’s finale in Toronto.

The frustration was on full display Saturday though when Red Sox outfielder Mike Cameron was ejected in the seventh inning and Red Sox manager Terry Francona was also ejected when he came out to defend his player.

“Cam got thrown out and I just wanted to go find out why, and I didn’t like the answer,” Francona told Heidi Watney after the game. “Sometimes, that happens. It’s hot, you’re losing, sometimes it happens.”
