Brandon Morrow's One-Hitter Against Tampa Bay Most Impressive Performance of 2010It could be the fact the performance is the most relevant, or it could be that Brandon Morrow was absolutely dazzling on Sunday against the Tampa Bay Rays.

Morrow started the game hot, striking out the side in the first inning, and he didn't slow down from there. The righty threw a one-hitter against the Rays — just one out away from throwing a no-hitter until Evan Longoria broke it up — and fanned 17 batters in the effort.

Fans overwhelmingly chose Morrow as the most impressive pitching performance of 2010, gathering a whopping 80 percent of votes. Roy Halladay's perfect game against the Florida Marlins on May 29 earned 20 percent of the votes, while Dallas Braden's perfect game on Mother's Day didn't receive any.
