David Eckstein's 'Geek Chic' Wife Ashley Launches Female Star Wars Clothing Line
Star Wars never looked so good.

Ashley Eckstein, wife of Padres shortstop David Eckstein, has recently launched a clothing line, Her Universe, which she believes will “help change the misperception that girls are not interested in Star Wars!”

Sorry Ashley, guys aren’t either. But for those who are, you probably recognize her as the voice of Ahsoka Tano in Star Wars: The Clone Wars.

Aside from watching her pint-sized husband rope doubles on the diamond, Ashley found time to land roles in such smash television and movie hits including That’s So Raven, Blue Collar TV, Drake and Josh, Sydney White and Alice Upside Down

Quote of the Day

“I remember when I was inducted into the Hall of Fame and they gave me my Hall of Fame yellow blazer. I wore it for two straight days. Finally my wife was in bed and said she wanted to make love but that I had to take the coat off. I refused and kept the blazer on because I wanted to perform like a Hall of Famer on the field and off.”
Michael Irvin, who, needless to say, didn’t want to take off his Hall of Fame jacket after receiving it in 2007

Comment of the Day

Thanks, Maple Leafs fan, but Toronto having a “great season”? Let’s not say anything too crazy.

“best of luck to you also, like I said before I really respect any
Bruin’s fan that takes time to talk hockey. I know Kess rubs people the
wrong way at times but I really do love hockey and talking about it.
Let’s both have great seasons.”

Turns out that Jason Chighizola, the head coach of a Yankees little league team who sucker punched the head coach of a Red Sox little league team, was on steroids — animal steroids. He was recently sentenced to 30 days in jail for the ugly melee.
