Dustin Pedroia's Trash Talking Reduced by Nerves During Return Tuesday Dustin Pedroia is back, but his well-known habit of talking trash may be lagging a little bit.

Pedroia returned to the diamond on Tuesday for the Red Sox' 6-0 win over the Angels to open a nine-game homestand for Boston.

The All-Star second baseman went hitless in his return, but acknowledged afterward that he was satisfied with how he was healing saying that he was happy that he could play without hindrance.

Pedroia also acknowledged that returning made him nervous, so nervous in fact that it cut down on his trash talking which is something he does better than most.

Check out the video below for more of Pedroia's thoughts on his return including his concern for first baseman Mike Lowell on a play that Pedroia thought "ripped [Lowell]'s arm off."
