David Ortiz and Adrian Beltre each hit the century mark in the Red Sox' 6-1 win over the White Sox Monday night. Per usual, Beltre contributed an incredible night offensively. The third baseman went 4-for-5 with two doubles and two RBIs on the night.
When asked about his consistency, Beltre credited his health as the primary reason behind his offensive output.
"I'm healthy enough to be in there every day," Beltre told NESN's Heidi Watney. "Everything's gone right this year."
This is the first time Beltre has hit 100 RBIs since the 2004 season, it is the first for Ortiz since 2007.
