The final preseason roster cuts have occurred, and the New York Jets are officially preparing for life without Darrelle Revis.
Revis, who felt disrespected by a $122 million contract offer from the Jets, will start the season on the reserve/did not report list, the New York Post reports.
Former all-pro Antonio Cromartie and 2010 first-rounder Kyle Wilson will start at cornerback.
“We’ve
talked about the fact that Darrelle is not here and we’ve planned
accordingly and we feel good about our depth at corner,” GM Mike Tannenbaum
said. “We have six guys we think can help us, and that’s the group we’re
moving forward with.”
