2007 was almost a magical year for the New England Patriots.
They played a perfect regular season, minus the whole spy-gate scandal, and after beating the Jaguars and the Chargers in the AFC Title Game, only the New York Giants stood in the way of perfection.
In one of the best Super Bowl games in years, the Patriots fell short of history. One play in particular will always be remembered from Super Bowl XXLII.
With less than 2 minutes left in the game Eli Manning lined up in the shotgun formation and immediately faced pressure. Richard Seymour, Jarvis Green, and Adalius Thomas all got hands on the quarterback, but none could bring him down. Eli scrambled away though and threw the ball to the Pats 24 yard line, where his receiver would make an incredible catch using his helmet.
Who caught the game changing pass from Eli Manning?
