Tyler Seguin, Nathan Horton Among Positives Bruins Can Take Away From Loss The Bruins lost to the Florida Panthers on Saturday night at the TD Garden. Despite that fact, though, it is only the preseason and there are positives to be taken from the loss.

First and foremost was the play of the newest Bruins' offensive weapons — rookie Tyler Seguin and former Panther winger Nathan Horton. Each scored a goal Saturday night and according to NESN's Bruins analyst Andy Brickley, each showed something different on Saturday night.

Seguin got the scoring going for the Bruins in the second period scoring his first goal of the preseason, and his first tally in a Bruins uniform. Despite the "milestone," Brickley tried to put it in perspective.

"Even if you're a rookie like Tyler Seguin and score your first professional goal, it's not until you score during the regular season," he said."

That doesn't mean it still wasn't impressive.

"It was a thing of beauty," Brickley continued. "You get a real good idea of what this kid's skill set is, in and around the offensive zone and around the net. … That's not an easy shot to make."
