This year, the heat was on as three chefs (with three very different dishes) competed once again for the title, completing their signature dish in front of a live audience in 20 minutes. The spectators were also the judges, as they were all treated to samples of each dish to determine who deserved the crown as Maine Lobster Chef of the Year.
This year, it was Kelly Patrick Farrin of Azure Café in Freeport, Maine, that took home the prize. Kelly created an herb grilled lobster tail with chive ricotta gnocchi, topped with baby arugula.
