It was a new side of Horton for Boston fans, and there's no doubt it was one that they enjoyed. While it's always a treat to watch Horton with his scoring finesse, it's appreciated when a player is willing to drop the gloves as well.
Horton and Maple Leafs defenseman Dion Phaneuf were chipping at each other throughout the game before finally throwing down in the second period. Horton quickly dropped Phaneuf to the ice, drawing raucous cheers from the Bruins' crowd.
To Campbell, however, this is a side of Horton that he's familiar with.
"Obviously he's known more for his skill part of the game and he does that extremely well," Campbell said. "But he does have a temper, and guys know around the league you want to let him sleep."
