Matt Hunwick was sent to Colorado on Monday night. Chalk it up as another example of the game of hockey acting as a business.

Bruins radio commentator and NESN Daily insider Bob Beers dropped by on Monday night to talk about the trade that sent the young defenseman to the Avalanche in exchange for Boston University product Colby Cohen.

As Beers points out, a move was inevitable. And while it's unfortunate that it happened to be a well-liked player like Hunwick, Beers was quick to add that hockey is a business and this ended up being a business decision. With Marc Savard just about ready to return, "Someone had to go," Beers said.
