Zdeno Chara and Tyler Seguin performed the former, while Michael Ryder did the latter.
For their efforts, they’ve all been nominated for the Captain Morgan Goal of the Week.
Chara’s came against Montreal, when he took a feed from Milan Lucic (who looked an awful lot like David Krejci with his patience) and roofed the puck over Carey Price to tie the game 1-1.
Ryder’s came against the Devils, when he craftily placed one off Martin Brodeur‘s backside to give the B’s a crucial power-play goal and a first-period lead in a game the Bruins eventually won 3-0.
Seguin’s came Wednesday night, and it was a thing of beauty. The rookie jumped on a turnover by former BU Terrier Matt Gilroy and exploded up the ice, firing a rocket over Henrik Lundqvist‘s glove side and giving the B’s a 2-1 lead.
