To say there's a bit of a rift between Liverpool defender Paul Konchesky's family and LFC supporters might be a bit of an understatement.
ESPNSoccerNet has an odd story detailing how Konchesky's mother, Carol, recently defended her son on Facbook, as he's been the target of criticism from Reds supporters.
Carol used the social networking site to call Liverpool fans "scouse scum," while telling fans to "stop living off the past."
She also apparently had the support of her friends, as many commented on the post, before it was eventually removed.
"The Liverpool scum don't know class when it hits them in the face," one of the comments read.
The club responded as expected saying that, "Mrs Konchensky's comments are inappropriate and have already been removed from Facebook. This does remain, however, a private family matter."
Konchesky has received negative attention from fans after he signed with the club over the summer.
The Daily Mail also posted a screenshot of Carol Konchesky's post, as well as the feedback it received from friends.
