Cliff Lee may have shocked the world by deciding to forego a huge-money opportunity in New York and a close-to-home opportunity in Texas to return to Philadelpha, but Curt Schilling isn't surprised.
The longtime Philly joined Dennis and Callahan on Tuesday morning to discuss Lee's signing, and he concluded that Lee went back to Philadelphia because having fun is worth more than a few extra million per year.
When Lee was in Philadelphia, he claimed to be having the most fun of any time in his career, and the atmosphere in the clubhouse and city was exactly what he wanted, says Schilling.
