Sidney Crosby’s Recovery, Washington Capitals Transition Among Things to Watch for in Second Half of NHL Season

As the NHL heads into the All-Star weekend, we're reminded that the season is already halfway over.

Looking ahead into the second half of the season, Mike Milbury and Bob Beers discussed what they'll be looking for in league play throughout the rest of the year.

For Beers, it's about Sidney Crosby and the scoring race. Crosby has already missed nine games with a concussion and has fallen out of the lead for points and goals in the NHL. While the Pittsburgh captain should not be rushed back from his injury, Beers is interested in how his recovery will affect the scoring race this season.

Milbury is concerned with the Washington Capitals, a team that has experienced several ups and downs throughout the first half of the year. The Caps are still struggling, and if they struggle in the playoffs again this season, head coach Bruce Boudreau may be out of a job.
