Even though the Bruins went through a frustrating three-game losing streak over the past week, there were still some nice goals scored in each game.
Thanks to some crafty moves in front of the net, forwards David Krejci, Brad Marchand and Daniel Paille are all nominated for the Captain Morgan Goal of the Week.
Krejci's goal gave the Bruins a breath of hope in the first last Friday, when he cut the Red Wings' lead in half late in the period. Krejci capitalized on a swift backhanded pass by Milan Lucic to net his eighth goal of the year.
Marchand netted his 16th of the year during the second matchup against Detroit, tipping in a cross-ice pass from Michael Ryder. The rookie center currently ranks third on the team in goals scored, and is no stranger to the Captain Morgan nomination.
Paille scored his second of the year against the Maple Leafs on Tuesday, opening the scoring midway through the first. Paille's goal deflected off a Toronto defender and was behind goaltender James Reimer before you could even blink.
