Milan Lucic doesn't get to play in his hometown of Vancouver very often now that he's playing with the black and gold, and he'll be celebrated upon his return this weekend.
Lucic grew up and played junior hockey in Vancouver, skating with the Vancouver Giants for three years before he joined the Bruins in 2007. The forward even led his team to the coveted Memorial Cup, where they won the title in his final year. Lucic recorded 19 points in the Giants' playoff run, in addition to his team-leading 68 points that season.
The Giants will be honoring Lucic for his efforts with the Giants, as he will be inducted into the team's Ring of Honor on Friday at the Pacific Coliseum.
