Which Red Sox Player Will Have the Best Comeback Season in 2011? It’s safe to say that the 2010 season was a down year for the Red Sox and a forgettable summer for Red Sox Nation.

Injuries piled up everywhere you looked — in both the rotation and in the lineup.

From Jacoby Ellsbury to Hideki Okajima to Jeremy Hermida, key members of Terry Francona‘s roster were lost for extended periods of time.

Although the squad hung in there thanks to gutsy season-long performances by Adrian Beltre, Marco Scutaro and Clay Buchholz, among others, the team failed to make the playoffs and took third place in the AL East.
