Bruins Will Need to Start Making Their Own Breaks to Jump-Start Power Play, End Losing Streak

Simply put, the Bruins need to get back to working hard to get things to go their way.

Stuck in the middle of a four-game losing streak, the B's numbers across the board are down (except for the slightest bump in their power play), and Bob Beers says the Bruins need to go back to getting their hands dirty.

"You need to fix it right now," he explained on NESN Daily. "A lot of little things are not going right for them, because they're not making it happen."

That applies to the always hot topic of the Bruins' power play as well. Beers said that part of the problem has been too much reliance on the newly acquired Tomas Kaberle. Instead of relying too much on Kaberle's puck-moving skills at the point, Beers says the Bruins need to do a better job of crashing the net and making things happen down there as well.
