The Lightning entered the Eastern Conference final as the superior power-play team. With a big trio of scorers in Vincent Lecavalier, Martin St. Louis and Steven Stamkos, it's easy to understand why.

But while the Bruins' power play has continued to struggle, the team's penalty kill continues to thrive, limiting the magnitude of Tampa's power-play advantage.

The Bruins have killed off every penalty they've been tagged with over the last three games — a span of nine penalty-kill opportunities. Overall, Tampa is only 2-for-18 with a man advantage against the Bruins in this series.

Mark Recchi spoke about the impact that the team's penalty kill success has had prior to Wednesday's Game 6. To hear what he had to say, as well as what NESN's Barry Pederson and Gord Kluzak have seen from the Bruins' special teams this series, check out the video above.
