There were a few reasons that the Celtics lost Game 4 of the Eastern Conference semifinals to the Miami Heat. LeBron James had a terrific game. Kevin Garnett did not. Rajon Rondo seemed to be bothered by his elbow, just a couple of days after dislocating it.
Yet the concern in the Celtics locker room following their 98-90 loss to the Heat that has the C's down 3-1 in the series was their inability to execute down the stretch. Boston was outscored 29-17 in fourth quarter and the overtime period, and to a man, they pointed to sloppy play as the reason for that.
