Search Continues for Missing North Carolina Man, a Friend of Daniel Bard

Authorities continue to search for a missing North Carolina man who is a friend of Red Sox pitcher Daniel Bard.

Matt Hill, 26, went missing Tuesday in Washington, D.C., after dropping off a George Washington University student he had been tutoring, according to reports. Here is more information on the disappearance, courtesy of The Charlotte Observer. Hill was a groomsman in Bard's wedding.

Bard has informed reporters in Detroit on Saturday to direct people to www.facebook.com/findmatthill.

Teammates of Bard, such as Jon Lester and Jarrod Saltalamacchia, have helped out via Twitter, directing people to the feed on the site, which is @findmatthill.

Anyone with information in the case is being asked to call police at 202-727-9099.
